South City Square rises up
South City Square, a $600m mixed use development located in Woolloongabba, has reached several milestones this year with the first two stages advancing in construction. The first stage, 1 South City is due to reach level 14 prior to Christmas, ‘topping out’ the building. We are excited to announce that we have recently won a $44 million Victorian government contract to redevelop the Ballarat railway station precinct. The Pellicano Group will be in charge of building a four-and-a-half star, 77-room Quest hotel, redevelopment of a heritage goods shed for a conference centre and public space with retail precinct, restaurants and cafe’s.
This project is one of the largest projects in the history of Ballarat and we are proud to deliver this redevelopment and revitalise the heart of the city while protecting its historical heritage and charm.
