South City Square Construction Update - December 2016

Welcome to the final update for 2016, looking back it has been an exciting year for Pellicano in South East Queensland and Victoria.

South City Square rises up


News picture. South City Square, a $600m mixed use development located in Woolloongabba, has reached several milestones this year with the first two stages advancing in construction. The first stage, 1 South City is due to reach level 14 prior to Christmas, ‘topping out’ the building. Stage 2, New Deshon is 100% sold out and the first levels of the residential apartments have been poured.
We are also excited to report Stage 3, The Mews was the highest selling apartment development in Brisbane for the September quarter. Due to this overwhelming demand, demolition and construction will be fast tracked with demolition to commence on the 9th of January 2017.

The latest retail destination on the Sunshine Coast

Pellicano undertook a significant refurbishment of the PLAZA Markets this year adding a completely new facade and creating a brand new aesthetic. Located directly opposite the Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre at Maroochydore, PLAZA Markets is now the newest retail destination on the Sunshine Coast. Tenancies available from 108m2 – 600m2 surrounded by major retail brands and commercial office tenants.

Pellicano brings new life to regional Victoria by winning the $44m Ballarat station precinct rejuvenation
We are excited to announce that we have recently won a $44 million Victorian government contract to redevelop the Ballarat railway station precinct. The Pellicano Group will be in charge of building a four-and-a-half star, 77-room Quest hotel, redevelopment of a heritage goods shed for a conference centre and public space with retail precinct, restaurants and cafe’s.

This project is one of the largest projects in the history of Ballarat and we are proud to deliver this redevelopment and revitalise the heart of the city while protecting its historical heritage and charm.

ARTHOUSE Construction Update - December 2016

Over the past 12 months, construction of Art House has made significant progress with the building structure now at level 23.

The internal fitout works are progressively working through the tower between levels 6 through to 20.

With Art House rapidly moving towards completion we remain on track for Settlement in mid 2017. Now is a good time commence discussions with your bank or financier to ensure that you have your finances in place for settlement at this time.

When the Settlement Team return in January 2017 we will begin to provide you with preliminary information in relation to your upcoming settlement as well as all processes leading up to your settlement.

We wish you a safe and relaxing holiday. Our Mirvac Office will be closed over the Christmas period from 23rd December 2016 and we will re-open again 3rd January 2017.

EVE Construction Update - October 2016

Construction work is proceeding on schedule at EVE with work commencing on Level 5 where the residents recreation facilities will be located. As the structure moves upward mechanical, electrical and fire protection services are underway below. In a few weeks the two towers will launch above Level 5.

Ivy is estimated to be completed in January 2018.

ARTHOUSE - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2016

Mirvac is pleased to bring the latest construction update on your purchase at Art House, South Brisbane.

Art House is now really taking shape with its unique facade now becoming a prominent landmark within the South Brisbane skyline.

The precast panels which make up this facade have now been installed up to level 16 with the windows and balustrades also in place up to level 12.

The internal finishing works are progressively working through the building between levels 6 through to level 11. These works include the internal walls and ceiling being sheeted with painting to follow through starting next week.

Over the coming months the facade will continue to dominate as the jumpform rises above level 20 and climbs its way to the 27th floor.

Lucid, our adjacent project, has also commenced construction on the basement levels and with the crane now in place this too will bring an architectural presence to Hope Street.

Settlement Timing Construction continues to progress well with the structure now complete on Sakura, Keshi and Sayuri buildings.  

Fitout works to these buildings have now commenced with joinery being installed on lower levels and glazing being installed on the upper levels along with services rough-in being completed. We are very excited to see our luxury living vision for Ikebana becoming a reality. The building remains on schedule for settlement in mid-October this year.

FLATIRON

We are pleased to advise that construction of FV Flatiron is progressing well.

At the end of May 2016 the majority of the transfer slab was poured, allowing for the basement and podium propping to be removed this month. The construction hoists are now being installed, which will allow for greater productivity on-site as the residential tower floors commence.

Brookfield Multiplex are on track to complete Flatiron in mid 2017.

ARTHOUSE - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE JUNE 2016

As a valued Mirvac purchaser, we are very pleased to advise that Art House, South Brisbane is now 100% sold.

Construction has embarked on an exciting time for the project, with pouring of the first residential level, level 8, slabs nearing completion.

This month will also see the installation of the external facade with wrapping motif and varied spandrel forms, the start to Art House really coming to life on the South Brisbane skyline.

Once the facade is installed, trades will be able to commence finishes on the completed floors.

Our neighbouring project, Lucid, is commence construction works in early June now that demolition is complete.
